How was Limentra born?

Limentra was born in 1980 from a shared dream, the desire to live and work in this beautiful valley and the passion for mechanics.

We started in a small room of 50 sqm. working with traditional machines, but soon we had the opportunity to start our production diversification, so we moved to more spacious premises, with some significant stages.

We combined mechanical machining with the assembly of small electromechanical groups for the "Automation for windows" sector.

This sector was booming. We collaborated with the technical offices of our customers for the realization and development of new products. Realizing in-house the specific equipment necessary for the production lines, following the production according to the parameters of quality control and TUV certification.

We began the modernization of the machine park and, with the purchase of the first CN working center, we added to the assembly the mechanical processing of sheet metal in collaboration with carpentry.

To face these new challenges from this moment on our main goals have been to invest in equipment, in programming software and in staff training.

With the participation of Andrea, Limentra becomes S.n.c.

After almost 30 years we no longer consider appropriate to continue the electromechanical groups assembly, but thanks to the experience gained we continue to design and manufacture equipment for the production lines of our customers, to complete the parts processed with the assembly of particular components such as magnets, caps, helicoil and technical gluing.

To offer an additional service to customers, we have added 3D printers.

Diversification and innovation, which remain our primary goals, allow us, despite a thousand difficulties, not to have declines in turnover both in 2020 and in 2021.

To improve production management we have activated the Industry 4.0 interconnection procedure.
